frame-grabs made excellent menu buttons,
and simply determining terminology
was sometimes the biggest production challenge.
AA's publisher was so pleased, he sent
two more programs--
"Painting Motorcycle Tanks"
and"Airbrushing Bowling Pins!"
to create into DVDs!

Recorded-Live performance programs
can present some special challenges
for DVD authoring,
such as music that precedes
the intro shot of the performer--
making chapter points
sometimes require subtle re-editing.
Video was captured via Firewire
and sound was delivered in Dolby Digital Stereo!
Interactive CD Rom Production
VersaMed's iVent201 Portable Respirator
The VersaMed Corporation needed
an interactive program
that not only featured a training video,
a corporate image video,
a link to their website,
a 120 pg training manual, etc, etc,
but something nobody in their industry
had yet produced--
a simulator that demonstrated
some key functions
of their new portable ventilator,
the iVent201.
The user is presented with 5 patient care cases,
and challenged to "operate" the virtual ventilator
as he would the actual device. Upon successful
completion of all 5 cases, user can print a
certificate suitable for hospital core-competency
training requirement. The iVent201 and the
CD ROM debuted at the AART exposition
in Las Vegas to resounding success!

which contains video clips,
an interactive engine compartment,
tool-feature walk-throughs,

a pre- or post- test, and
